27 holes carved into the Wisconsin northwoods.
Tight, fair fairways. Concrete tees. Big elevation. A family-built course that plays year-round — snow, sun, or deer season.
Course Conditions & Updates
Conditions, closures, and tournament announcements are posted on our Facebook page — check it before you make the drive. Recent notices look like these:
Course is open — free to play
If you make it out, there's a shovel by the tee pads. Some pads have already been cleared. Bundle up and have fun.
Deer season: wear orange
The course stays open during deer hunting season, but please wear blaze orange. Loaner orange hats are on the cabin porch — return them after your round.
Fall and spring play best
The rough is rough in summer months — come in fall or spring for the most enjoyable rounds. And there are no garbage cans on the course (bears!), so please carry out everything you carry in.
Tight, wooded, and worth the drive.
Jon Tjader bought this land in 2013 and spent two years cutting fairways before the first baskets went in. What opened in 2015 as 18 holes grew to 20, then 21, and finally the full 27 — a dedicated disc golf property, built by a disc golfer, carved hole by hole out of the northwoods.
Wooded & hilly terrain
Tight but fair fairways through mature forest with real elevation change. Most holes run 228–432 ft. Moderate-to-hard difficulty — bring your whole bag.
Concrete tees, Prodigy T1 baskets
Solid concrete tee pads on every hole and Prodigy T1 targets throughout. Cart-friendly and dog-friendly, with restrooms at the parking lot and hole C. No garbage cans (bears) — pack it out.
Plan 3 to 3.5 hours
The full 27 runs about 3.2 miles of golf with lots of elevation change (not recommended for limited mobility). No drinking water on the course — bring your own.
Nine layouts, three loops
Hole-by-hole maps, distances, and scorecards for all 9 layout combinations live on UDisc — the course is ranked among the top 100 in the United States.
Tjiny Acres — the 18-hole putter course
Opened in 2023 right next to the big course, Tjiny Acres packs 18 par-3 putter holes into one very hilly mile. Holes average around 100 feet (91–138 ft), marked by flags with Mach III baskets — short, but reviewers call it highly technical. Perfect warm-up, cool-down, or a full round with the kids.
Bring your putters only — the fun is in the angles and elevation, not the distance. It's walk-up like the main course: flag-marked tees, very hilly terrain (not cart- or stroller-friendly), and the same pay-what-you-play setup.
Tjiny Acres on UDiscFive bucks. All day. Every layout.
